Race Quotations
Let us be sure that those who come after will say of us in our time, that in our time we did everything that could be done. We finished the race; we kept them free; we kept the faith. Ronald Reagan The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter. Mark Twain There are times when one would like to hang the whole human race, and finish the farce. Mark Twain The human race is a race of cowards; and I am not only marching in that procession but carrying a banner. Mark Twain Such is the human race, often it seems a pity that Noah... didn't miss the boat. Mark Twain If the human race wishes to have a prolonged and indefinite period of material prosperity, they have only got to behave in a peaceful and helpful way toward one another. Winston Churchill It was the nation and the race dwelling all round the globe that had the lion's heart. I had the luck to be called upon to give the roar. Winston Churchill If you go on with this nuclear arms race, all you are going to do is make the rubble bounce. Winston Churchill Let's pray that the human race never escapes from Earth to spread its iniquity elsewhere. C. S. Lewis I will far rather see the race of man extinct than that we should become less than beasts by making the noblest of God's creation, woman, the object of our lust. Mohandas Gandhi |
